Description

Hello! Zoe and Maya are sisters and are excited to get to know you!
We love to travel and experience new cultures. Maya lived in Spain for over a year, which is perhaps where her love of international travel began.
We love spending time outside hiking, swimming, and trying new things! We also find a lot of joy in gardening, reading, and spending time with friends/family.
Maya is graduating from university soon with a degree in Public Health. She's aiming to study Global Health in grad school, so she's especially interested in learning more about health outside of our native country.

Maya has non-professional experience teaching English (taught roughly 30 hours of English classes while living in Spain). Maya would also be happy to practice Spanish with hosts. We are both interested in learning/practicing Italian. Maya can understand some Italian.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

-Engaging with kids: We grew up in a large family, so we are both great with kids.
-Cleaning and tidying: We are both hands-on people who are eager to help out. We value a clean environment and enjoy helping to create and maintain one.
-Animal care: We have experience caring for cats, dogs, chickens, fish, and bearded dragons
-gardening: We have some experience tending vegetable gardens and caring for houseplants.
-DIY projects: we have helped out with various house projects over the years, including hardwood floor installation, painting walls, and installing trim. We are quick learners and happy to help out wherever needed.
-Outdoor work: We grew up on 7 acres of forest and are used to working with the land (e.g. hauling wood in the summers so we have fuel for the winter).
-Dance: Zoe danced ballet for 8 years and could teach basic dance. Maya has also taken some dance classes and could teach some skills.
-Content creation and writing: Maya has experience creating content for social media. She is a capable writer as well.
