Description
Hello! My name is Ciara. I'm from Ireland originally but I'm currently on a working holiday in New Zealand!
I'm a recent graduate with a degree in Ecology and Environmental Biology, and keen to discover more of New Zealand's amazing wildlife. In my free time, I enjoy nature, walks, exploring and meeting new people.
I joined workaway with a keen interest in nature, gardening and eco-projects. I want to meet new people and hopefully gain some new skills along the way! -

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I have past experience working on ecology projects! I am a recent ecology graduate and enjoy amateur bird watching. In Ireland, I was a volunteer with my local ecological group, working on restoration of local sand dunes. I learned about marram planting, fence installation and maintenance and team leadership.
Alongside this, I consider myself a great cook and enjoy it as a hobby. I enjoy gardening and growing my own food (though definitely have much to learn). I can clean and am not afraid of hard work!
I have spent the last few years working in different hospitality and retail sectors whilst earning my degree. I'm great working both with people and independently. -

I felt welcomed to her lovely home from the start with good food and good conversation. I've learned quite a few amazing recipes that I will most definitely be taking home with me.
