Hi! I'm Chelsea. I just graduated from Georgetown University, where I studied Environmental Justice and Italian! I have lived all over the world and I love traveling, meeting new people, and learning new ways to experience the world! I love hiking, gardening, swimming, skiing, and exploring, and I love learning and experiencing new things. I am very passionate about sustainability and human connection to the planet. I am very friendly and I love to learn from people's experiences. I love adventure and I am a hard worker. I am happiest when I'm around people I love and in nature, and I'm always chasing new experiences.

I have been lucky enough to have a few work experiences around the world; I babysat in Spain for a month in 2018, I worked on a vineyard in Italy in September of 2020, and last year I spent two months in Mexico working on a zero-waste permaculture farm & animal sanctuary in Mexico, then lived on a qigong retreat/permaculture farm in Hawaii for two months, where I learned a lot about Korean Natural Farming! This year I worked on several workaways in Italy. I'm a hard worker and I love working with the land, I am so excited to learn new ways to interact with the planet!

Community and connection are really important to me. I love learning from people and their different experiences and interests. I love spending time with animals and kids too! I am proficient in Spanish and Italian. I am so excited to meet new people and learn new skills and different ways of seeing the world! Right now, I am looking for experiences where I can meet interesting people, learn about sustainability, connect with nature, practice my language skills, and expand my worldview!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have spent four years studying environmental justice, so I have a lot of knowledge about the intersection of environmental and social issues. I have experience with permaculture and Korean natural farming, and I love learning new ways to work with the earth! I worked on a few different kind of farms and a vineyard, so I know a bit about wine making. I really love cooking and can make many vegan and vegetarian dishes! I enjoy creative projects, and really enjoy jewelry making, and painting. I have experience with social media management and have basic graphic design skills. I also have basic skills with tools and can use a chainsaw. I have also taught English to children and I love spending time with children - I have 10 years of experience in childcare. I also have experience in customer service; I'm really friendly and love meeting new people!
