***currently looking for a workaway during my half term & Christmas breaks 2025***
***Ideally housesits/work with horses and/or goats/rabbits/other animals***

I was born in Germany, growing up in an artistic household (my father is a sculptor and art teacher). I moved to the UK at 16, finished school here and went to university in Scotland. I have a MA Hons in Psychology and Linguistics, a PGC Education and a PGC Psychotherapy. I teach Psychology for a British online school - currently working 2 days/week. I'm also a qualified yoga teacher and a somatics education coach.

My great passion lies in discovering the world and being outdoors. I spent 18 months cycling from Mexico to Argentina, have hiked extensively in several countries, and I'm always up for new challenges.

I'm a reliable, hard-working and diligent person, interested in personal growth, learning new things, seeing the world, and meeting new people.

I enjoy being creative (and believe that I'm good at it :'D) (sewing, painting, pottery, music...), partner dancing (zouk and WCS), swimming, and doing various outdoor activities.

I have done lots of wwoofing, workaways and farm work over the years, since the pandemic I focused more on my career but am eager to explore more again now that I have a remote job (plus teacher holidays!). I have also done several housesits in the past (in Australia and the UK, mostly looking after cats). Workaways have included:
o argan farm in Morocco in 2010
o hobby farm (milking goats, making jam etc) in Spain in 2011
o cheese production in Ecuador in 2015
o teaching in Peru in 2015
o hostel work in China in 2017
o ger camp in Mongolia in 2017
o Buddhist retreat in Australia in 2018
o looking after race horses in Tasmania, Australia, in 2018
o stable hand at a horse stud in Australia in 2018 (paid position)
o station hand on a cattle station in Australia in 2018 (paid position)
o hostel work in Spain in 2018
o helping during lambing season in Iceland in 2019
o yoga and rafting retreat in Canada in 2019
o hobby farm in the USA in 2019

I stayed with Joe for a few weeks in July and August. I was warmly welcomed, was given the opportunity to be creative with different projects, and enjoyed hanging out with and taking care of the gorgeous animals (feeding, mucking out, collecting manure, exercising the horses, cuddling the goats...). I spent a few weeks at the farm in May 2019, and actually returned to help again this September!

I spent almost two weeks at Esee's ger camp. It is located in an absolutely stunning spot near Moron. You share a ger camp with another worker and any other helpers and volunteers that might be there at the time. The meals are very tasty, Mugii is a great cook.
