After years of the typical daily grind in 8 to 5 jobs, I made the big decision to step out of my comfort zone and be my own boss. For a long time I was constantly wishing to see and experience the world outside of the U.S. and become emersed and educated in different cultures. High school marked my first trips out of the country to Mexico, Spain and Morocco which offered a great and necessary culture shock to see how other people live. These trips altered my perspective on what I needed to live a happier life.

Later on, I finally made the jump into the yachting industry, something I was unfamiliar with and had to learn from scratch but allowed my first escape from the typical trappings of a mundane job. I quickly gained new skills and more importantly, new friends, while getting a first taste of an alternative lifestyle that I truly enjoyed.

In the summer of 2022, I embarked on a solo backpacking trip through the UK and Europe for 2 months. Cities such as Dublin, London, Berlin, Prague and Budapest, finishing off with the Adriatic Coast of Croatia and Oktoberfest in Munich. The entire trip was a wonderful experience and it ended too soon! The journey solidified my choice to fully commit to a life dedicated to travel, escaping the rat race and embracing as much of the amazing things and people the world has to offer.

Earlier this year I received my second citizenship (Croatia) which will open up numerous and exciting possibilities in the future!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have strong skills in baking, many sweet doughs and cookies. I was the head baker at my local family bakery in Kansas City, Missouri for 8 years.

In 2014, a colleague and I made a full length feature film of which I was the producer. My role included raising funds, managing the budget and crew of 25 people, scouting locations and running the day to day filming. I developed strong leadership and management skills through this project.

Working in the yachting industry, I learned about boat maintenance, caring for and cleaning fiberglass, brightwork, stainless steel and teak as well as engine room cleaning and oil changes.
