Description

I'm a 20-year-old student at the IED in Rome. I major in the arts, but I also have a deep interest in the humanities, such as anthropology and philosophy. I've lived in Rome since I was born, but I love traveling and learning about different cultures.My first contact with a different culture was at 17, when I spent three months in Thailand. There, I realized that traveling and meeting people who are different from you is incredibly enriching. I consider myself a person who is open to others, willing to listen, willing to help, but above all, willing to learn. I don't feel like a fully fulfilled person, and precisely for this reason, given my young age, I feel the urge to gain experience, and I'm sure that with Workaway I can have it. I'd like to share spaces and places between nature and the city with a community. I'm therefore looking for a community that can welcome me and from which I can learn about coexistence. I have various interests. The art world is definitely there: drawing, photography, painting, and design. I feel like a person full of ideas, eager to unleash them. I enjoy playing together, sports, and other activities. Music is my spiritual dimension—listening to it, playing it, and producing it. I could make a living from music; it's my language. However, I haven't yet found a space where I can share it with others. I enjoy reading and watching good films. Unfortunately, cooking isn't my forte, but I'm always ready to collaborate on a good dish. I enjoy manual labor, building, deconstructing, and refining something. I enjoy talking and exchanging ideas and thoughts with other people, whether older or younger. I always feel enriched. And doing so in another language is even more enriching.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a 20-year-old student at IED in Rome, where I study arts and design. Alongside my artistic education, I have a strong interest in the humanities, especially anthropology and philosophy, because I enjoy understanding different ways of living, thinking, and relating to the world.

Although I was born and raised in Rome, I have always felt a strong desire to explore other cultures. At 17, I spent three months in Thailand, and that experience changed my perspective. It taught me how enriching it is to live among people with different backgrounds, habits, and values. Since then, I have wanted to continue learning through direct experience, travel, and shared living.

I consider myself an open-minded, adaptable, and respectful person. I enjoy listening to others, helping when needed, and contributing to a positive atmosphere. I am comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, and I genuinely appreciate the opportunity to learn from people of all ages and backgrounds.

Creativity is one of my strengths. I draw, paint, take photographs, and study design. I am a person full of ideas and enthusiasm, and I enjoy finding creative solutions to practical challenges. Music is also a very important part of my life: I play, produce, and listen to music daily. It is one of the ways I connect with people and express myself.

I am also happy to engage in practical and manual work. I enjoy building, repairing, organizing, improving spaces, and learning new hands-on skills. While I am not an expert cook, I am always willing to help in the kitchen and learn from others. I enjoy sports, outdoor activities, games, and community life in general.

What I am looking for is more than accommodation or travel. I would like to become part of a community, share experiences, contribute with my energy and creativity, and learn how people live and cooperate together. In return, I offer curiosity, reliability, a positive attitude, and a genuine willingness to participate in daily life and help wherever I am needed.

I believe that every person has something to teach and something to learn. For this reason, I see Workaway as an opportunity not only to travel, but to grow as a person while making a meaningful contribution to the people who welcome me.
