Hello everybody! We are Mirjam and Cecilia from Denmark :)
We are two positive and adventurous young women, aged 23 and 24 years, who love to travel and add new experiences to our lives. Ever since we meet each other, we knew that we share the same values and perspectives - especially when it comes to traveling and learning about new cultures.

Mirjam is studying medicin on her third year. She likes to help people and are looking forward to be are part of one of the most important sectors.
Cecilia just finneshed her BA in rhetorics. She is very interested in writing and the power of words and languages in general.

Right now, we have a gap in our studies, which makes it possible to fulfill one of our greatest goals and adventures;

We have always wanted to travel to Australia - the place we believe has everything. It is hard to pinpoint the most appealing parts about Australia; we just know that we need to experience the nature and culture. This is also why we see Workaway as a golden opportunity.

One of our big passions in life is to learn new skills. We are, therefore, prepared to help and learn with almost everything, and we are definitely not afraid of a challenge. Most importantly, we promise to keep up a good mood and contribute with positive energy.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

From our family homes we both learned what it means to be a part of a family/community where everyone needs to help and contribute. After we moved out we have tried to live in different constellations where we learned how to adjust to different needs and most importantly show respect. We therefore also know how to keep a home clean. As a part of living on our own we also know how to fix and build smaller things.

As mentioned we are both very curious and adventurous. We like to be out in the nature, which is also where thrive best. We both have a background in the Danish military where we volunteered to join military practice. We learned a lot of different skills during that time. We learned what it means to be a part og af group where everyone is depending on one another. We learned to be disciplined and to fulfill what we put our minds up to. As another part of the training we also learned different skills about how you survive/live in the wild nature. Something we both practiced a lot further on. We like to go camping, hiking, canoeing, fishing and much more.

As a final comment we both also grew up with animals such as cats, horses and chickens and know how to take good care.

Autres infos...

We both like to have a lot of different things on our plates! We are very interested in sports and like to try out knew things. At the time of writing we are trying out bouldering as our new "sport project" and we love it.

For the more creative part of the brain we like to entertain our selves with water paint, crochet and pottery - the quality of the outcome can be very varying :)
