Hello, I am a woman (61), francophone, Belgian emigrated to Québec (Canada) 31 years ago, Spanish teacher just retired (December 2024), nature lover, sociable but a bit introverted, eager to connect with new people to make friends, exchange ideas, get to know other places, cultures and languages. I love music, dancing (swing lindy and balboa), walking, yoga, qi-gong, bird watching, museums and exhibitions, swimming in the sea, going to the movies, learning other languages and of course, spending time with my family and friends. I am interested in learning about nature, the environment and how to protect it. I am also interested in History and Arts. I tend to be vegetarian, but I eat fish. I am the happy mother of two really nice girls (29 and 34). At my place in Quebec city I have a little cat.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My mother tongue is French and I am a Spanish teacher, so I can teach both French and Spanish and it would be a pleasure to help you with that. I really like working in the garden, I can spend hours without noticing and I enjoy learning new things. I can paint walls. I like to be with people of all ages (children, young people, adults, older people). I've already been told that I'm very quick at washing dishes ;) Of course, I know how to clean a house, I can do ironing, I'm also good at tidying things. I know how to cook, now I cook mainly vegetarian recipes, but I almost always need to use recipes and I prefer to cook with others than alone. I always try to be respectful, both to people and animals and to the places I go. I can play the piano (especially classical music).

I really enjoy birdwatching, I like to walk and observe birds, learn to identify them and know them.
I love listening to music, for example classical music and music from other countries, for example West Africa or Brazil, and if rhythm is good, I am gonna dance :)
I enjoy learning things about nature, flowers, trees, animals, and I also like being in contact with other persons (of all ages) and share good moments and long talks!


Uno de mis pasatiempos favoritos es la ornitología, me encanta salir a caminar con mis prismáticos, observar pájaros y aprender a identificarlos y conocerlos.
También me encanta escuchar música, entre otras música clásica y música de diferentes países, por ejemplo del Oeste de África o de Brasil, y si el ritmo es bueno, ¡¡voy a bailar, seguro!!
Me encanta aprender cosas nuevas sobre la naturaleza, las flores, los árboles, los animales, y los intercambios con otros humanos...
