About me:
My name is Carla :)
I’m currently studying ceramics in the south of France, and I’m planning to travel this summer. What I love most of all is creating things with my own hands, whether it’s cooking a meal for my loved ones, making mugs and vases, or sketching in my notebook. I’m a very creative person who loves nature. I grew up in Grenoble (France), a city surrounded by mountains and beautiful landscapes. I left those mountains to study in Antibes, by the sea, a place I adore.
My favourite pastimes are drinking coffee, listening to music, going for walks and wandering around towns I don’t know.
I also love trying new things and learning new skills; there’s so much to discover and that’s what I love about life! Curiosity is one of the things that motivates me most.
My dream would be to one day open a café where people could meet and create together, a place full of joy.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Currently studying at an art school with a focus on ceramics, I am a very creative person. I love working with ceramics, but I also enjoy exploring new practices such as sewing (which I have been doing for the past three years), crochet, linocut printing, photography, and drawing.

I take great pleasure in sharing my passions with others. For example, I have organized ceramic and linocut workshops for my friends and family.
As part of my studies, I sometimes work on communication materials and am familiar with Canva and even some video editing apps.

I also have a connection to nature. At my parents’ house, my brother looks after the garden, and whenever I’m home for the holidays, I love spending time helping him. We grow things together and look after the space. We also have chickens and a dog, Kaya, who are very much part of the family and bring me a lot of joy.

I completed my middle school internship in an Italian restaurant-shop. Cooking is another passion of mine, and I enjoy working with good ingredients to create delicious meals.

I have been living on my own since I moved away for my studies almost two years ago. As a result, I am quite independent, resourceful, and comfortable handling everyday tasks such as cooking and cleaning.

My favorite board game is the Skyjo.
I love reading – books that transport me to imaginary worlds, or books that teach me about the world today, about other people and about myself. I’ve recently started reading graphic novels and I think they’re wonderful.
I watch a lot of movies and love going to the cinema, alone or with some friends.
