Happy Day! My name is Canon, a fun, compassionate teacher and trainer with experience in many different fields. Personally, I'm motivated by personal growth and self-discovery, and living a healthy lifestyle with positivity in hopes of helping others find their own paths of happiness and intentional living while doing the same. Likewise, I find happiness by staying physically fit, cooking delicious food, spending time with family & friends I love, finding joy in helping & motivating others, and immersing myself in learning and exploration of different cultures, languages, and lifestyles. I'm thrilled to try workaway in hopes of learning, growing, living intentionally, and helping others while doing so!

Through my experience as a teacher and traveler, I have always had a driving passion for learning about different languages and cultures. While earning both my Associate's & Bachelor's Degree, I focused learning the Japanese language due to my curiosity for the Japanese culture and lifestyle. At the same time, I was working to earn a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential that focused on the arts and teaching English Learners. The tools and skills they taught greatly helped when teaching English Learners (EL), and witnessing students struggle to learn English motivated me to want to help ELs even more. At the moment, I'm currently learning the Indonesian language, but it is truthfully a work in progress.
