Description

We are two adventurous girls who love to travel, challenge ourselves, and have great experiences, meet new people, and explore different cultures.
We have already traveled quite a bit as backpackers, and now we want to experience the world in a new way, through volunteer work.
We would love to contribute with our skills, working closely with the locals, and experience the world in a way that is different from what we know, which will give us the opportunity to gain a deeper and more authentic understanding of the places we visit.

Workawayer 1 - Camilla Laursen

My name is Camilla, and I am 21 years old. I live in Denmark, so I speak fluent Danish and understandable English. I am a happy and smiling girl who loves to travel and gain new, great experiences.
I am very responsible and good at collaborating with all kinds of people, but I also work well independently. I am very curious and eager to learn new things and take on new challenges.
At the moment, I am working at a nursing home while taking a break from my nursing studies. I take care of elderly people, cook for them, and do various cleaning tasks, etc.
Additionally, I love animals and nature, and I would love to incorporate that into my work.
I have previously worked at a campsite, a gas station, and in a supermarket.

A little about myself
Hi, my name is Camille, and I am a 22-year-old woman.
I am passionate about making a difference wherever I can, to the best of my ability.
I am used to working hard and am very meticulous in the work I do. I am a very happy woman who creates smiles and a good atmosphere for the people around me.
I am always open to new challenges and am quick to learn. I work well in a team but can also work independently.
Animals and plants are some of my major interests, and they bring me joy. At home, I have a hobby of taking care of many plants.
I speak understandable English.

I am trained as a farmer specializing in pigs. Additionally, through school, I have gained knowledge about cows and field care.
Some knowledge of tractors.
