I will be traveling Europe for at least 8 months from April, with most of my time spent working in France. I enjoy nature, hiking, architecture, and good food! Maybe we will cross paths :)

Hello, Kia Ora & Bonjour!

In brief my travel plans at the moment are:
- Paris - 11th - 23rd April
- England 23rd April - 10th May
- France 10th May - Ongoing

I will finally be starting my solo Europe trip in April and I can't wait.
I have a working holiday visa for Francem which is for 1 year. Plus I plan to explore other parts of Europe too.

I'm a country boy from New Zealand. Originally from a small town called Whakatane. My family has a small dairy farm and so I have grown up living the farm life for a long time.
I'm excited to finally be traveling to Europe after my original plans were disrupted a few years ago.

I want to see and learn as much as I can. Through language exchange and being able meet people from different walks of life. I want to be able to connect with places as I travel rather than just passing through. Connecting with the culture, people and the nature. I'm a bit of a bird nerd and could tell you all about our native wildlife and trees in New Zealand. When I'm not working on the farm I'm trying to finish building my tiny home (slowly learning how). I also love planting trees on the farm and restoring the ecological integrity of the land. While finding time to go out surfing as much as I can.
I love to cook and would be very interested in trying your local cuisine and learning from you.
I would really like to work in a French bakery or a Patisserie and learn the traditional craft. Maybe you make the best homemade pasta or gateau too!

Although my conversational French is still not very good, I have got a basic foundation from Dualingo for the past 190 days. But I want to immerse myself in the language and if you would be happy to teach or at least help me speak and read more then I would be very grateful. I can share stories from New Zealand and our way of life, plus helping with English along the way too.

I'm a bit of an all rounder. I like the outdoors but also movies, anime and good music. I have an interest in yoga and sports. I like to play tennis and will try to get a job (or at least visit) Roland- Garros and Wimbledon tournaments this year.
I can play the drums and piano and would love to learn a new instrument too. Maybe the violin or the guitar. Maybe we could share our knowledge?

Finally, what motivates me?
Nature, people and being constantly drawn to new places and new experiences. Looking for what's around the next corner in the street. The next gap in the forest that sparks a new view across a mountain range. Into the unknown to see what's out there!

I'm looking for a language buddy. I am trying to learn French on Dualingo but would love some real life practice! I will be in France and Europe for another 6 months or so. Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have spent most of my life living on a dairy farm and working with nature and in the conservation space. I have a strong respect for the land and a very practical mindset when working outdoors. I also love to get creative, whether that's in the space of art or music or even pottery. I'm a fast learner with the right teacher and always happy to try new things.
I have experience in orchard work, landscaping, ecological restoration and basic carpentry skills. As well as great animal husbandry skills and compassion towards the world around us.
