Description

Hey, We are Calum and Liv. We Live in Norway above the arctic circle. And round about winter time we look to migrate to a place with a bit more daylight(and a bit warmer). We're curious people with a wish to learn much from our experiences during workaway.
We wish to work towards living a more sustainable life as we live on a large patch of land in which we try to grow some vegetables and get eggs from the chickens.

Calum, is 33 years old. He very much like to keep active with running and sports activities.
As a chef he is use to long and physically demanding work and enjoys manual labour.
He likes to trade knowledge and be helpful when possible. And is motivated to be part of and make a visible contribution to projects.
In his chill out time he enjoys reading and socialising.

Liv, is 26 years old. She loves animals, mountain hiking and creating clothing.
She currently has her own clothes making business and she can often be found in her workshop working on projects. She is well motivated by arts and crafts and projects with a beautiful outcome.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We work well together when carrying out manual tasks such as gardening and DIY jobs for example.
We are both able to carry out handy work, we are capable of fixing things.
We carry out gardening tasks on the land that we live on with an aim to expand the growing possibilities.
And we have a good amount of experience dog sitting.

Calum works professionally as a chef with 15 years experience. And acquired certain gardening and farming skills (sowing seeds, weeding, harvesting, creating beds, watering plants, foraging, feeding animals) over a year.

Liv is a certified nurse and grew up on a farm and has experience with cows, using large tools and hard manual work.

She has built her own living area in a campervan from scratch using repurposed materials.

Liv is also skilled in repurposing and repairing clothes as well as crocheting and kniting.
