Hi! I’m Eddie (can’t change display name, oops) a queer artist from Wolfe Island in Lake Ontario. I grew up spending a lot of time outdoors on canoe trips and adventures, learning about nature. I pursued a degree in animation and have realized working on a computer is definitely not for me! I spent summer 2025 working at a cabin rental company in the Yukon, helping out and painting murals and it was an amazing experience.

I'm eager to see more of the world and meet other creative people out there! I’m a quiet person but I open up quickly and love a good firepit conversation and music :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I was raised by a very capable carpenter who got me involved in all sorts of projects. I know how to safely use a variety of hand and power tools, I've worked on a construction site, and I have a lot of experience with house-painting.

A lot of my food during the summer months growing up was from backyard gardens, which I really enjoy managing and tending to.

I have an interest in fixing electronics - I've replaced screens on 4 apple devices and I once got an old digital camera to work again...at least for a few days.

I have been a multi-disciplined visual artist my whole life and by summer 2025 I will have a bachelor's degree in animation. I've taken 9 years of violin lessons and still play on occasion, and I can sew and crochet.

I love reading, I'm very into the sci-fi/fantasy genres and I love fiction with an environmental aspect to it.

I'm fascinated by history, in particular ancient Celtic and Irish culture and I'd love to learn more about other Indigenous cultures and their relationships to land and community.

I really like crafting and playing with found materials to make art!

I'm also very thoroughly a member of the LGBTQ community, and I don't really mind what pronouns people use for me as long as you're respectful of my non-adherence to the binary.
