I am a world travelling, animal loving, thrill seeking outdoor enthusiast. After packing up and spending a year travelling alone, I inevitably caught the wanderlust bug, along with a deep appreciation for world cultures. I am a qualified Instructor of Outdoor Pursuits, so an active, outdoor lifestyle is what drives me. I am from the UK, however I have been living full time in Austria for the past two years. This summer I plan to venture out of Austria in the hopes to discover a place or community where I can find peace, joy and culture outside my own.

Living in Austria, I have picked up some very basic German - enough to get by at work - but lack the skill and confidence to speak at a conversational level, so if any German speaking hosts would be willing to guide me a little, I would be so grateful! I am also interested in learning the basics of any other languages.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

- I am an adventure sports enthusiast and qualified outdoors instructor (Raft Guide, Mountain Leader, Rock Climbing Instructor, Level 1 Paddle sports Coach, First Aid etc).

- I have 3+ years experience working with children, both in coaching and teaching. I also spent 3 months working as an Au Pair in Australia for a 3 year old and an 8 month old baby.

- I love animals! For my first job, I was a Saturday groom at a sanctuary for retired and rescued horses. Proud dog owner, and vegetarian.

- I am a hard worker and a quick learner, and I do not mind getting my hands dirty. I would much rather put myself through some physically demanding labour than stare at a screen all day.

- I love travelling. I have visited just over 20 countries, and I have worked in 6.

- I would consider myself a down to earth and enthusiastic individual who carries good energy and can't settle down.

I'm a sucker for a good game of cards or poker. Writing, art, video editing and music are keen hobbies of mine - none of which I am an expert but they kept me sane during the pandemic.
