Hello there ☀️ My name is Alex (30), I study psychology, education, and sustainability science in Lüneburg (near to Hamburg). I consider myself a thoughtful, curious, and versatile person. Among other things, I enjoy sports, music, and cooking. And well, every now and then, a pun or two, ranging from dull to sharp, slips out of my mouth 😅
I'm originally from the beautiful Tauber Valley in Baden-Württemberg, with its idyllic orchards and vineyards.

My long-term goal is to be able to live self-sufficiently, learn permaculture design, replant and maintain local orchards, and use permaculture knowledge to make them more climate-change-resistant (including drought protection).

I also find basics such as bread baking, fermentation, and livestock farming/food production valuable and worth learning.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have gained initial experience in vegetable cultivation (including seed propagation) and working with a scythe. I can bake sourdough bread, cut back shrubs and trees, climb on trees and muck out chicken coops. At university, I learned the basics of ecological restoration and the importance of biodiversity for the respective ecosystem. I do my best to be a good listener and am as careful and reliable as possible in my work.

Mild allergies: house dust. The fewer carpets in the bedroom, the better :)

Mental health: I'm a bit sensitive to stress and sometimes need a short break.

On the subject of nutrition: I mainly eat an ovo-lacto vegetarian diet, but I also enjoy well produced fish and meat from time to time.
