I love nature, and prefer to spend my free-time outdoors exploring. I love any body of water: beaches, lakes, waterfalls - I'm there!
I love music, though I won't be bringing my saxophone with me on my trip.
I love to dance, and often go to salsa nights here in Melbourne - I'd love tips about where to go out dancing while I'm travelling!
I'm an absolute F1 fanatic, and hope to find my people in Europe!
I enjoy reading when I'm at home, and I love learning, I'm always studying something new.

I have been working with children for the last decade, in both entertainment and education.
I hope to continue teaching English to children while I am on my travels.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I hold a Bachelor of Arts from Federation University Australia, where I majored in Acting with a minor in Dance. This was off the back of a high school education focused on mathematics, physics, and literature. I also hold a TEFL certificate (Teaching English as a Foreign Language).

My main offering as a workawayer is helping with children, such as teaching English, baby-sitting, childcare.
I would love to exchange English language for Spanish language learning with both children and adults, as well as offering general help around the house.

A bit more about my work history:
I'm truly a jack-of-all-trades; I've worked in: entertainment, performance, education, training, sales, retail, hospitality, with experience in the fields of accounting, insurance, utilities, working with both children and adults.

My main area of expertise is soft skills - I'm great with people (including kids)! I have a wonderful phone manner, clear and friendly communication, and an ability to relate to and liaise with people of all ages from all walks of life.
I'm organised, great with administration and data entry + management, and habitually a clean and tidy person. In education I've worked with both children and adults successfully, and have enjoyed seeing my student grow and flourish under my tuition and training.

In roles I've had I've quickly risen in the ranks applicable to the industry, for example into management in sales and into competition training and performance as a dance teacher.

I have travelled solo all around Australia, where I live. Mostly through road trips in a wagon with a mattress, but with my fair share of hotel and hostel stays as well.
Last year I experienced my first trip overseas, visiting Singapore and Vietnam, after years of dreaming of travelling the world. It was everything I hoped it would be, and more!

I'm solo travelling for 12 months throughout the Schengen area, and I am so excited for the people I'll meet, the memories I'll make, and the self-growth I'll experience along the way.
