Hi!

i'm Sara, a 47 year-old from a small town on the Gaspé peninsula (Gaspésie) in Quebec.

I spent my 20's & half of my 30's travelling and working abroad, and had fantastic experiences with the HelpX program (very similar to Workaway).

I then settled in Montreal for 12 years, and moved to Vancouver Island in June of 2024. I have found myself with the summer off, which is a wonderful opportunity to explore the island & surrounding islands more. I had hoped to connect with various Workaway hosts, but so far I have had wonderful opportunities find me. Before I know it, summer will be over so I am now making a conscious effort to connect with some Workaway experiences.

Some fun facts about me: In a nutshell, I'd say I am a pretty happy human. I love being outside and am a nature lover, I'm a people person but do appreciate when possible a bit of downtime to recharge my batteries. , Happy to attempt to learn everything & anything, bit FYI cooking isn't a love of mine, but I do love good food!
