I am a recent graduate of the University of Michigan where I received my Bachelors in Neuroscience and German and minored in Music. The German part is because of my heritage, and the brain just fascinates me. It's funny noticing my brain trying to understand itself in class. But I've realized I understand the most through experience and applying myself in new ways. I hope that through workaway, I can experience wonderful people and environments, and see what I am capable of!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Creative expression is essential to my life! I have been playing violin since I was 6 years old, starting with classical, but expanding into fiddling, jazz, and improvisation. I am happy to share and teach music, and have instructed for 4+ years. I also enjoy teaching in schools and have worked with young children.

I am an intermediate aspiring yogi and feel deeply connected to nature. I have some experience guiding meditation and enjoy spiritual / philosophical discussion. Healthy eating is important to me, so I like to prepare simple nourishing food. In free time I like to do something artistic, like doodling or art photography (Instagram @anso_bell).

I have found that I am well suited for outdoor work with a physical challenge! Construction work including woodwork and interior finishing appeals to me. I have little garden experience, but am willing to get dirty and learn! I also love playing and spending time with animals-- especially horses-- and can help care for them.
