Hi! I’m Asia, a 20 year-old girl from a small town in the Italian countryside. I’m currently studying at the university of natural sciences, and I can’t wait to discover the world!
I love animals and nature, which is why I’m a vegetarian.
I’m passionate about art and music; I play the flute and a bit of the harp. I enjoy learning new things, setting new goals, and I’m always willing to work hard to achieve them.
I like kayaking, snorkeling and hiking.
I love being part of a team and helping others.
I’m really excited about meeting new people, discovering different ways of living, learning new languages, and improving my English.
Through this experience, I hope to become more independent, make new friends, create lasting memories, and return home with greater knowledge.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I grew up with animals and I love spending time with them. At home, we’ve always had dogs, cats, and parrots, so from a young age I learned how to treat them with respect.
With my high school, I did a two-week training at a veterinary clinic, where I was shown how to take care of animals in the best possible way.
I also volunteered at an animal rescue center, where I helped look after chickens, ducks, pigs, dogs, cats, goats, cows, donkeys, and horses. I cleaned their enclosures, fed them, gave them water, and provided medicine when needed.
At this center, they also taught me how to milk cows, although I didn’t get to do it very often.
During the summer, the center also became a summer camp where children could learn to respect and love nature. I played with them, helped them with DIY projects, and joined them on the morning walk to say “good morning” to the animals.
I also worked as a helper at another summer camp for children, where I supported them in learning English while having fun.

I’m eager to learn and I don’t give up easily! I enjoy hiking in nature, but I also love exploring cities. I adore the sea and snorkeling.
I might seem a bit shy at first, but all it takes is a smile or a kind word to make me feel comfortable.
