My name is Ashley and I am an outgoing and active individual from Utah, USA that is traveling around Europe this summer! I’m very passionate about community, art, food, crocheting, dancing and snowboarding and look forward to hearing about the passions that drive your life!

I am someone who is extremely goal oriented with a love for problem solving and a drive to immerse myself in experiences that I am passionate about.
The traveling opportunities that workaway opens up was the first aspect that really drew me in. But I was sold after seeing how much opportunity there is to expand my knowledge of community, art, food, culture, language, self sustainability, organic/sustainable gardening, & handy skills. My friends would describe me as chill or very go with the flow, this makes me the perfect person to throw onto any project or odd job! I try to bring laughter and openness into every situation that I find myself in and I have seen the positive effects it's had on my life and I am very excited to form relationships with people who have those same ideals.

I'm very excited to be able to travel this summer and I hope we get the chance to meet each other!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I've worked in the food and hospitality industry for eight years now and can truly say I still love the human connection the industry provides. I have a huge passion for great food, coffee and wine and I love to cook for others more than almost anything. I love the way it can foster a connection with others while also brightening a daily occurrence. 


I grew up the oldest of a very large family and helped care for my siblings extensively as well as the ones in my community. I started babysitting for other families at 12 and as I grew up worked as a nanny for a few families up until I turned 18.
I’m comfortable looking after kids at any stage, whether it’s newborn or teenager. I genuinely enjoy engaging with children and learning from their perspective. I find it inspiring and energizing to help children explore the world through play, art and conversation.

I’m also passionate about animals and genuinely enjoy caring for and bonding with them. Since the day I was born I’ve lived with animals, I had dogs growing up that I loved to walk, bathe and of course cuddle with. I’ve lived with at least one cat for the last 10 years and have experience caring for animals with complicated health conditions.

I grew up with a “jack of all trades” father so I’ve had experience:

Re-landscaping multiple yards, home remodels, re-paintings of insides and outsides of houses, caulking, tool knowledge, as well as construction clean up

I also really flourish when I am given the opportunity to learn a new skill, so I would love to take on many types of projects even if they're not in my current skill set!
