Description

Hi! I’m Ash, a traveler with a love for nature, creativity, and community. Over the past several years, I’ve lived and worked on farms and communities across the U.S., including in Kentucky, Maine, Washington, Michigan, and California, through WWOOF and other work-trade opportunities.

I value simple, sustainable living and enjoy spending my time outdoors with gardening, swimming, surfing, hiking, or exploring new places. I’ve also worked as a counselor supporting youth on the Olympic Peninsula, and I have over six years of experience in healthcare, hospitality, and childcare. Those experiences taught me quick thinking, efficiency, patience, empathy, and how to communicate with care.

Outside of work, I love photography, playing banjo or guitar, caring for animals, and connecting with creative, intentional communities. I’ve also been involved in grassroots activism, starting community organisations for trauma survivors as well as climate justice in rural Kentucky.

I’m happiest when I’m learning new skills, helping others, and living close to the land.
