Hi there!

I am a private chef based in Texas with a big love for fresh, seasonal food and getting my hands in the dirt. I’m inspired by cooking with garden-grown produce and learning new recipes, techniques, and skills that connect food to the land.

I have over 10+ years working in the Hospitality industry including experience working in professional kitchens, bartending, catering, tending food and flower gardens, and helping with basic building and outdoor projects. I’m a quick learner with an easygoing, bubbly personality, and I genuinely enjoy pitching in, sharing meals, and connecting with people.

I’m excited to learn from hosts who value growing, cooking, and living simply—while contributing good food, positive energy, and an extra set of hands wherever needed.

Through Workaway, I'm excited to learn new skills and gain inspiration for my dream of opening a self-sustaining bed and breakfast where I can host small scale events and share meaningful experiences. I’m always up for trying new cuisines, appreciating ancient cultures, and diving into nature and local life. Looking forward to connecting and contributing wherever I go!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I bring a diverse set of hands-on skills and a strong work ethic to every project I join. During my time as a theater student in college, I gained practical experience in set building, which taught me teamwork, problem-solving, and how to work efficiently with tools and materials. My love for cooking comes from growing up in a family that values homemade meals—I've since expanded that passion through self-teaching and working in various restaurant kitchens, where I learned to thrive in fast-paced environments. I've also volunteered in community gardens, helping with planting, weeding, and general upkeep, which deepened my interest in sustainability and working with the land.

I love playing all types of board games, Catan being my favorite. My hobbies and interests outside of what has already been listed include sports, I love basketball and football ( or soccer as they call it in America ) hiking and photography. Anything outdoors I will be 100% involved and active in! My favorite form of exercise outside of hiking is yoga and pilates.
