Hello there, I’m Anu from Germany.
In 2023 and 2024 I spent my first 11 months living my dream of travelling the world:) I've spent around six months in in east Europe and 5 months in south east Asia and did several different volunteer experiences which I loved.

I came back home around a year ago to be with my family and work for a while. I worked in an outdoor and travel store which sparked my excitement to see the world once again. So now I’m headed to Morocco and several other places over the next 6 months, hoping to get inspired by even more different countries and cultures and people I meet along the way.

I very much enjoy being active in nature and go for multi day hikes. But I also love chaotic bustling cities and exploring all day long.
I love meeting new people and learning life lessons from them. I would like to experience lifestyles that are much different from my own and broaden my horizon in many ways.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

In the past, I have worked in hospitality, in Cafés and restaurants and tended bars. Most recently I've worked in an Outdoor store, helping people choose the right gear for their adventures.

Last year I did several great workaways! These included volunteering at hostels, working reception, helping with chores and socializing with guests. I also took care of a dog, and joined an eco project for a while.

I would love to help out at hostels again, becoming once again part of a little "hostel family", as I call it. I would also like to work with animals or gardening and I'm eager to develop new skills!

I'm excited for every chance to step out of my comfort zone and take on new tasks:)

Autres infos...

I enjoy cooking new dishes and sometimes spend hours in the kitchen to try new creations. But what I like even more is sharing my food with friends, because it’s not fun to only cook for yourself:)
I also play Volleyball and am always looking for people to play with:)
