Description

We’re Angel (Angelica) and Charlie, a newly married couple from England with a shared love for adventure and the great outdoors. Both 26, we worked as ecologists in our home country, which resonates with our deep passion for wildlife and nature that shapes how we see the world!

We first met while studying for our undergraduate degrees at University in Bath, England from 2019-2022, where Angel studied BSc Environmental Science (Hons) and Charlie studied BSc Conservation Biology (Hons). Angel is originally from Essex and Charlie is from Oxford. Our love for the planet is what brought us together and we have been inseparable ever since! We had an eco conscious, nature inspired wedding in Cornwall in October 2025.

Travel means everything to us; the freedom to explore new places, connect with people from all walks of life, and immerse ourselves in different cultures feels like a true gift!

We’re lifelong animal lovers and have grown up surrounded by dogs, cats, chickens, and horses, so being around animals has always felt like home to us.

Since January 2026, we have been travelling around South East Asia and have been to Malaysia, Thailand, Laos and Vietnam. We are now looking forward to our next chapter and plan to relocate to New Zealand on a Working Holiday Visa from mid-June 2026. We’re excited by the opportunity to experience life in New Zealand, contribute through work, and continue exploring a new part of the world longer term.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Angel has a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and a Master’s degree in Global Wildlife Health and Conservation. Charlie has a Bachelor’s degree in Conservation Biology. Both of us worked as ecologists in England and carried out extensive fieldwork, so we’re very comfortable with practical, hands-on work outdoors in all kinds of conditions.

Angel also did babysitting throughout her teenage years and has plenty of experience caring for young children, while Charlie completed a college course in Animal Management and has experience working with and caring for a range of animals. Between the two of us, we’re adaptable, hardworking, and confident taking on a variety of responsibilities, whether that’s helping around the home, working outdoors, caring for children or animals, or getting stuck into something completely new! Together as a couple we make a great team and can put our minds to anything :)
