Hi, my name is Andrea,
I am 19 years old and I live in a small village in Austria. As I graduated last summer, I am very excited about exploring the world this year. Currently in Costa Rica.
In my free time I like travelling, playing instruments (piano and saxophone), exploring nature, hiking, riding the bike, drawing, crocheting, babysitting, or just spending some time with friends and family.
The fact that I grew up in two different cultures (Austrian and French) and that I was able to travel with my family are just some of the reasons why I am so interested in meeting new people, learning about other cultures and exploring the incredible nature of the world.
At first, I might seem a little bit shy, but as soon as I feel comfortable, I am very open and sociable. I am a positively thinking person who tries to make the best out of everything. Also, I am well-organized and structured. One aim of this adventure is to come out of my comfort zone to learn new things about myself and to figure out what I want to do. Therefore, I am very open about learning new skills, a new language and making experience and memories.

I am already exited, and I hope to get to know you soon!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I just graduated from high school with specialization on management and service industries where I also learned how to cook. As part of my education, I did an internship for 3 month in France as a waitress. In the last summers I also worked as a waitress and as an article seller at a famous music festival from my region. There I learned how to communicate with guests and to be respectful and polite in any situation, as this is an important part in hospitality.
Since I am 15 years old, I babysit for different families at a regular basis and I also attended a course for child care, so I already have some experience with kids. In fact, I have been told several times that I am good with kids, so I hope that’s true ;)
As we have a garden at home where we grow some vegetables and fruits, I have some knowledge of gardening. We have two lovely cats at home - so I like to take care of animals.
Of course, I’ll help with house chores like doing the dishes, cleaning, etc. because I take it for granted that if I live in someone else’s home, I help with general maintenances.
Currently I am learning photography and editing, so I am very interested to improve my skills or to apply some of the knowledge I already have. At the moment I am also interested in architecture, interior design, but also sustainable projects.
I would be glad if I can help you with some of my skills and I am very open to learn new skills and to deepen existing ones.
