GREETINGS FROM PARADISE!
Only 6 miles from one of the best beaches in the world, called Praia da Rocha.... I have a farmhouse situated at the foothills of the Monchique mountains, but by no means isolated, My little village is on a bus route which takes you to the lovely town of Portimão, google it....you'll be pleasantly surprised.
My House is in a great location halfway between Monchique and Portimão, 6 miles each way. It's next to a woodlands and mountains, which has some lakes. There is a very attractive restaurant at the top of my lane, with pretty Bougainville overhead. where you can get tasty authentic reasonably priced meals, just 5 minutes walk away. There is a bus every hour at the top of my lane, which takes you to the bustling harbour town of Portimão, and the beautiful beaches of Praia da Rocha. From Portimão you can travel anywhere in Portugal by bus or train, public transport is very inexpensive.
There is a comfortable cabana for your accommodation, with a bathroom, electricity, water, cooking facilities and a double bed. Although I am happy to cook meals for my workaway guest! I am a vegetarian, so I prefer not to cook meat, but I can do if required
I have unlimited Internet, and a renewable energy system providing abundant power.
The jobs I have is just connecting alkathene water pipes with straight connectors and digging a bit of earth out that has fallen into a ditch, plus a little bit of painting.
I have 3 female dogs, an Alaskan Malamute and her 2 daughters.. (see the photos) who are friendly and lovable, if you like nature and walking there woodlands, mountains and lakes next to my house. There are no roads nearby and absolutely no traffic goes past my house, ideal for someone who loves peace and quiet, perfect for a writer or studies.
The Algarve has lots to see and do, it has beautiful beaches within easy reach from my home.
There is a wide range of water sports, superb golf courses and with 3000 hours of sunshine a year in which to enjoy the outdoor life. What’s not to love….and stacks of cafés for getting to know the locals

The Algarve has an outdoor & café society, you will have no difficulty making friends. It has beautiful beaches, surfing and many water sports. Stunning scenery, mountains, forests,, lakes and lots of places to explore, you'll never be bored.

Yes I have Internet. Yes, it’s a peaceful environment perfect for nomads to work yes I have 3 dogs. I am non smoking No I’m sorry I cannot accept families. Not suitable for children Yes I can accommodate camper vans No sorry no pets at all, as my dogs are not socialised with other pets, but they get on great with people.
