Hi we are Julia (22) and Alina (21) and we want to explore our beautiful planet and get to know different countries, culture and people.
We believe that through travelling you can grow as a person in an enormous way and we find workaway is the perfect opportunity for that. We already had great workaway experiences in the Dominican Republic and Spain.
We would describe ourselves as outgoing openminded people.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Alina: I don´t really have any special skills but I´m a quick learner and very exicted to help where I can. However I worked several months in gastronomy and I do have a Barista certificate.
I also volunteered at YFU (Youth for Understanding, they organize school exchange programs for students all over the world), there I looked after some students who stayed in Austria for a school year as well as organized events for cultural understanding and personal development.
I already have two Workaway-experiences, in Spain I stayed with two lovely families to interact with their kids in English as well as volunteering in a hostel in the Dominican Republic. Additionally I could improve my knowledge of Spanish and overall I had an amazing time.
Julia: I got to know workaway through Alina (who I will also travel with) and would be very exited to also collect a lot of memories on a workaway journey. I love music and played the violin for 5 years, now I try to also get some guitar, piano and mixingpult skills by myself. I also did a lot of sports. I did jiujitsu for 9 years and also went to a boxing and judo club. My education and working career includes a school for gastronomy and hotel industry (1year) and a school with the main focus on social work and business. I have a lot of experience with working in the social area. For example worked at summer camps for children, at schools for disabled children, a children’s hospice, different retirement homes, etc. Also I worked at a ice cream and coffee shop and two different pizzerias. As you can see I love to try different stuff haha :)
I am an open minded, creative and energetic person who also likes artsy stuff.
