Hi! My name is Alessandra, I am a 25years old girl from Italy.
I’m currently living in Verona but after my graduation in March I’m planning to spend some months far away from the city.
I’ve always been a nature and animal lover, every summer i spend some weeks in the Alps with my family or friends and that’s always one of the happiest moment of the year. I really enjoy take long hikes in the mountains in company or alone.
During the past years i also started working and volunteering with animals and I absolutely love to dedicate my time to them. I would like to experience a life close to nature and meet people who share my same values of love and respect for nature.
During a gap year before starting university I’ve already had many different workaway experiences and I remember those months as some of the best I’ve ever lived. I learned and shared so much and meet so many wonderful people so i’m really excited to live new adventures!

More things about me: I like reading, painting, writing, walking barefoot in nature, having good conversations in front of a beer and cuddling animals. :)

I find languages as Spanish and Portuguese very fascinating and i would love to learn more about them. I spoke Spanish during my traveling in Spain but now i forgot almost all of it and I can only understand it. I also studied a bit of French in the past year but I never had an opportunity to practice. I also would be happy to teach some Italian!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
In my past workaway experiences i performed a lot of different tasks: I took care of some animals (donkeys, cats and dogs), I've helped cleaning and tidying an Airbnb house, weeding, watering, doing some basic manteneneance work in the garden, painting walls, cooking, helping with children.
The past year i worked as dog sitter, I also volunteered in a sea turtle recovery center last summer and now I’m a volunteer in the cat shelter of my city.
I love working outdoors and learning new skills, I’m a fast learner and I do everything whit love and enthusiasm!

Spending two weeks with Luca and Neige was one of the best Workaway experience I’ve ever had.
The place is absolutely stunning, surrounded by woods, streams, mountains and a lot of wild animals.

We absolutely loved every minute of Alessandra's stay with us. She approaches everything she does with calm self assurance- at 18! She is so calm, witty, clever and kind.
