Hey! You can call me AJ or Alyosha (icknames for Aleksej), I'm an open-minded, motivated, and curious person from northern Germany, travelling to learn, grow, and connect with others. I love getting involved, learning by doing, and being part of everyday life wherever I go – whether it’s in the kitchen, the garden, with animals, or simply through sharing culture and good conversation.

I’m 22 years old and recently completed my Bachelor’s degree in IT in Munich. After finishing my studies, I decided to dedicate this year to personal development before starting my masters in my home city in Hamburg (Germany). One part of that is following my little dream of becoming a pizzaiolo, learning traditional techniques and diving deeper into Italian food and culture. But it’s also about spending more time in nature, trying out wild camping, and connecting with people from all walks of life. I'm fascinated by languages and how they shape our understanding of the world, and I love discovering new perspectives through cultural exchange and shared experiences.

In addition to travelling, I’m also continuing my work with an NGO where I fundraise for organisations like Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières) from doors-to-doors in Switzerland. This job involves living with my team in a shared Airbnb for several weeks at a time, so I’m well used to living closely with others and navigating new social environments with empathy and respect.

I can offer help in many areas. Cooking and pizza preparation is something I’m especially passionate about, and I’m always eager to improve. I love being outdoors and enjoy hands-on work like gardening or maintenance tasks. I speak German as my native language, am fluent in English and Russian, and know some French. I’m also currently learning Italian and always happy to practice. Thanks to my IT background, I can assist with websites, tech troubleshooting or general digital tasks. In my free time, I play instruments, enjoy music and sports like martial arts ( I used to do a little boxing and now I started out Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu), and like staying active and creative.

I’m not just travelling, I’m taking time to learn, grow, help out, and make meaningful connections along the way. I’m open to new experiences and happy to contribute wherever I can. Whether it’s working with my hands, supporting a project, or joining in on daily life, I’m excited to be a part of it.

Pizza & Cooking: I love experimenting with dough and fresh ingredients, and I’m eager to help in the kitchen.
Language & Culture: I can assist with German, Russian or English practice, and I’m excited to improve my Italian through daily interaction.
IT & Digital Support: With my IT background, I can help set up websites, troubleshoot hardware/software, or teach basic computer skills.
Gardening & Outdoor Work: I enjoy working outside and am happy to help with gardening tasks—planting, weeding or harvesting.
Household Help: Having lived on my own, I’m experienced in all household chores cleaning, cooking, laundry and general upkeep.

Right now i live with the family with a really good german friendsi know for over 18 years nearby hamburg. Im planning on doing my masters in Cybersecurity next year in Hamburg and right now I want to gather some experiences around the world starting with italy :)
