Hi, there! My name is Ashlyn - I've already done 3 Workaways and I've loved every single one and have held them dearly with me. I love to travel & explore. I feel that I've had many experiences, although I am only 23. I am currently working taking tutoring lessons to learn Spanish, Computer Science, Public Speaking, and Business Management. I'm also learning about medicinal herbs from Rosemary Gladstar's Herbal Course. I recently just left my job as a manager in women's health outreach. I've done many other jobs as well, that I feel make me a more well-rounded person. I hope to continue to mainly pursue herbal medicine, as I hope to help to learn how to heal others through medicinal herbs.

I would say that I love good company, love a good time, tend to be pretty goofy, and love to work hard! I can play some songs on the ukulele for you or talk about deep ideas & thoughts. I love connecting with the world, as I try to connect deeply with those around me. I prefer not to watch TV or be on social media all that much. I really like to take advantage of my days and of this life!

My skills have been developed through taking classes, working at a non-profit, working, and 3 work aways. In school, I've been given leadership skills and have taken classes in teaching, cooking, sewing, woodworking, public speaking, debate, putting on events. Through working at a non-profit, I've learned about taking care of the community, charity work, fundraising, many office/business skills, public speaking skills, event planning, and management. Through work, I've learned how to paint, how to talk to customers, take care of the elderly, lifeguarding/medical experience. Through work aways, I've learned some gardening, canning, taking care of animals.

My hobbies are learning Spanish, playing the ukulele, going for hikes, learning about God through reading, praying & going deeper into a relationship with God, shopping at thrift stores, making new friends, meeting new people, trying new things, learning about new topics, eating interesting foods, dancing, sports/working out.

I'm interested in learning about medicinal herbs, more about farming, gardening, home skills such as cooking & cleaning, sewing, and just picking up more life skills as well!
