Description

Dear hosts and workawayers,

in September 2020 I left home with some savings to fullfill one of my dreams: living and travelling on an unconditional basic income for at least a year! By now two years have passed and I am still on the way.

I would like to reflect on myself and the future and hope for many nice people to cross my way and enrich my thoughts and imagination. After a long period of studying based on theoretical knowledge I am now eager to immerse myself in new contexts and improve some practical skills :)

Thanks to my quick grasp and with the right instructions I can accomplish a great variety of tasks.

Some experience I have collected in the past:

I am an Art Historian with professional experience mostly in cultural mediation and education (working in museums, art collections, cultural institutions and as a tourist guide).

I had a side job in the estate department of a cooperative bank for 2 years.

I did 1 year of social service in a Waldorf school, working with preschool children, gave free private lessons (mainly English and German) and support for children and teenagers (I strongly believe in more equal opportunities through education) and I started emergency babysitting when all the schools and kindergardens had to close during the pandemic (now I can change dipers too).

I speak several languages (German, Italian, English, French, Spanish) and consider myself a communicative human being.

I spent some time on farms planting, harvesting, weeding.
