Hello! Nice to meet you! I’m 22, from Northern Ireland, and I up until recently have been living on the Causeway coast working as a baker. I have a deep love for classical music, nature and delicious food (If I’m not hanging out with my pet sheep or on my bicycle, I spend my time in the kitchen with the radio on!). I volunteer twice a week with my local foodbank. I have experience working with 6/7-year-olds and love looking after and helping children grow. I’m also interested in languages and etymology, as well as art, history, sailing, poetry and literature. So I’m always reading something!

Since September 2024 I have been using Workaway to travel in Italy. I spent my months helping with childcare in Rome, then also experienced working on a farm in Tuscany.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have experience working as a special needs children’s assistant and in a school with 6/7-year-old children. Working with children has brought me so much joy and precious wisdom! When I was still in high school I taught music classes to younger children. I have a few other skills, such as flute and piano, as well as art, sailing and cooking. I’m very interested in world cuisine and using the best ingredients, and studied for a short time at Ballymaloe Cookery School. One of the things I’d love to learn more about is organic farming!

I love the opera and watching opera productions, as well as chamber music. My favourite way to spend a sunny day? If my friends are free, swimming in the sea, going out for karaoke and watching movies together! Or hanging out with my sheep, then cycling to the local farm to buy fresh seasonal vegetables and making a delicious meal.
