Description
Hello! I’m Abbie. I’m from Melbourne Australia and am 19 years old. I graduated high school last year (2025) and am so excited to start planning my first Workaway adventure. I have been planning and looking forward to it for ages!
I adore children and animals and would love to get the chance to care for them during my future stays, while also getting to experience and explore a new country.
I have previously traveled to the US, Japan, and France, and loved it, so now that I am finished school I am eager to travel again!
One of my favourite things is musical theatre, as well as acting, and am about to perform in a production of beauty and the beast! I also enjoy cooking and looking after all kinds of animals, as well as being at the beach.
Although I can be quite shy sometimes, I am truly a cheerful, high energy, and friendly extroverted person, who loves to meet new people and experience new adventures.
I have hopes of becoming a nurse after I get a chance to explore as much of the world as I can. -

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Although I am not the strongest, I am a healthy and fit person who is able to work long hours.
I have lots of experience with children, including babysitting since I was 11, and working with my mum at the early childhood centre/kinder that she runs. I have my working with children’s certificate, and am waiting to receive my first aid and cpr certification.
I also have experience caring for all sorts of animals, such as pets and some experience caring for farm animals, mainly horses. I have learned to ride horses, but my knowledge on caring for them is a bit rusty!
I have been working for many years, giving me experience with food, working in groups, as well as being punctual and efficient.
I am quite a good cook and love doing it! (I also have lots of experience cooking for a very fussy little brother) .
I also enjoy cleaning and will always try to lend a hand with any chores and jobs! I am a fast learner and extremely eager to be of help. -
