Hi Workaway network!
We are Ziortxa & João, we met each other almost 4 years ago and on march of 2023 we decided to reunite and start new adventures together!
Currently living in Paraty and out next step starts in India on February 2024.

I’m Ziortxa, I’m almost 30. I have degree on hospitality management and all my job experience is based on service, which I love!
I love to travel and know new cultures, I already lived in 4 cities in Brazil, providing me the privilege to connect and meet different kind of people as cultures, process that helped to create who sim now, a vegetarian women, yoga and nature lover, great amateur cooker, love to cook and eat. I speak English, Portuguese and Spanish fluently.
I have been part of some social project such as playing with abandoned children, preparing and serving dinner to homeless people and sharing time and love in nursing home care.
Serving and helping other is a great purpose in my life and I feel to much gratitude and pleasure doing it.

Hi! My name is João, I’m 28 years old, I was born in a poor community in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
In common with the vast majority of Brazilians I’m a big football fan, I love music and the interpersonal relationships.
To be helpful is rooted in our culture and it always motivated me to work on help other people in my country. I worked as, a tour guide, in hotel industry and recently I ventured into the music area, most specifically samba.!

Together we want to bring and share our cultures and abilities and at the same time to learn from what and whom is around us. To create different and variety of experiences and consequently help their people to develop their owns projects.
We have a true interest on volunteering at farm houses, ONGs, social and sustainable projects, and to connect with the planet and ourselves.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We both have customer service and care skills.
We have driver license.
João plays music instruments such us guitar, tambourine and reco-reco (percussion).
English, Spanish fluent and native Portuguese being able to teach.
I like football so I can create sport activities with children.

Ziortxa has social and communication skills, which allow to communicate and work with children and elder ones. Speaks fluent Portuguese and I can teach English and Spanish.
I love to cook for myself and for others. I love and respect animals.
I have great experience with Excel (computer) and I can help with administrative task.

We are willing to do tasks that require physical effort such as construction, plantations and animals.
