Description
Hey, hey, I'm Tilen!
I love exploring new perspectives just as much as new places and I'm hoping to try out many different ways of life: which is also why I joined Work Away! During the last ten years or so, I've been studying philosophy, Chinese and history in London, Germany and China. I’ve recently done a research project on visual history in Taiwan, but these days I’m going around Germany.
I spend most of my spare time in nature; I travel, go hiking, diving, cycling or adventuring. But I also enjoy sitting down for a cup of tea gaiwan style 功夫茶 and share the moment with whoever’s there with me.
I’m currently also doing some part time work on a computer 25h/month, not more. I wonder whether that makes me a “digital nomad”?Centres d’intérêt

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Previously, I've managed a mountain hut in Slovenia for a month (took care of the guests, the facilities, the bar and the finances), which gave me a range of practical skills in hospitality.
I've previously also worked in a warehouse, as an usher in a cultural centre, in a German kitchen as a co-chef and as a mover. I've also worked as a part of the online computer help team during academic conferences. I've got some basic html skills, but honestly I'm much more interest in working with plants.
I've never done gardening work nor construction, but both are amongst the things I'd love to learn and try out.Âge
