Hi,
I'm Yemaya, I'm 18 years old and from the Netherlands. I just graduated highschool and have a gap year right now.
I love to spend time wih my friends and family, but I also enjoy my time alone, because I have lots of hobbies. I like to make art, play music, surf, go for a walk in nature and work at the beach.

I loooove trying differt types of food and explore other countries and cultures around the world.

I am a hard worker, but I also like to take my time, considering I'm a perfectionist.
The small things bring me happiness, for example watching the sunset or sunrise, or when my parakeet (his name is Stevie) starts to whistle when I come home.

I really like learning new things, like languages as it makes communication easier and it's a good way for me to practice new things while I'm still young. I'd also like to teach people dutch or english, since it's a very good way to get to know each other better.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I can paint, draw, surf, think out of the box (because I went to a waldorfschool for 14 years), work with people and communicate, due to m job at a restaurant/bar at the beach (I've worked there for 3 years) so I know how to be kind and welcoming. I also like to write (songs or poems mostly) and read. Im also good with kids, I often babysit and I also like to take care of my two chickens and parakeet. And last but not least, I learned english, french and german in school and I'm also really good at learning new languages (I'm learnig Behasa Indonesia right now).

I also like to watch lots of movies, especially thriller movies with deeper meaning, but a good romcom can also make my day. Concerts are also a big part of my life, because I'm a huge music fan and i love to meet my fav artists and new people. I think I mostly listten to indie pop/rock, but I'm open for lots of differt genres, like jazz, pop, rap, old rock and sometimes even country. I am very fanatic when it comes to games, like machiavelli, card games, monopoly etc. however I also try to convince my family that we need to play a cooperative boardgame every once in a while, instead of something where only one persons wins. Surfing is one of my passions, aside from that I'm very bad at ball sports and fighting sports. I did gymnastics for a while tho but I stopped 5 years ago. I can play guitar, piano, ukelele, cello and I like to sing and write songs:)
