Hey there! My name is Xenia (my friends call me Nia) and I am a 22 year old biology and english student from Germany. I aspire to be a teacher in the future and would love to gather some practical knowledge and life experience that I get to share with my future students.

As a biology student in university, I am very enthusiastic about animals and plants. I just finished writing my Bachelors thesis and am now looking to spend some time abroad, before I begin my Masters degree.

I am very reliable and punctual (as any real German should be ;) )

In my free time, I am a (amateur-) dancer, play the piano and read pretty much any book I can get my hands on. Any other time that's left, I spent with my friends, family and 16 year old cat Maja.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

As a biology student I have a lot of theoretical knowledge about botany and zoology and would love to gain some more practical experience. My family has a garden where my mother and I try out growing different kinds of produce, so I am not afraid to get my hands dirty.
I also have experience handling all kinds of animals (cats, dogs, rabbits, small birds, chickens and bees). I've grown up surrounded by pets and I am especially fond of cats!

The last year, I have been working as an assistant in a local law firm (next to my studies at university) which has taught me a lot about discipline. I also have been tutoring children (grades 5-10) mainly in the subjects biology, english, french and maths for the last 3 years.
In November 2022- February 2023 I spent some time at an organic gardening project in Ireland where I did lots of planting + cared for multiple cats and chickens.

I am a fast and attentitive learner and would love to pick up some new skills.

  I try to eat mostly vegetarian, but I'm quite flexible about meals. For example I don't mind eating meals that have meat in them, if I can just pick it out.
