Hello hello :)
my name is Wiebke (I go by Vicky on my travels) , I am 24 years old (25 in the end of march) and I am from Germany. I started studying social work 3,5 years ago and I am currently doing an Erasmus (student exchange program in Macedonia). Ever since I turned 18 I developed a huge passion for traveling especially on my own. I always got told that I should start studying and start working to save money for my retirement. And I never really understood why I should think about being old when I am young right now. So I did it may way taking a few years off to experience myself, explore the world, heal myself and get to better understand who I really am. And we all know its a never ending process right? But I think I found a pretty solide foundation :) I am aware that this is a big privilege for me to be able to choose my life like this and I am forever grateful. I like to keep things simple, prefer a minimalistic lifestyle because I am mostly overwhelmed by the massive consumption in our world. Its nice to be able to choose but when there are 150 types of facial creams how should I know which one to pick? :D Apart from that people told me that they like to stay around me as I comfort them, give them good energy and always some good laugh. Humor is a big characteristic I would describe myself with. But I am also very empathetic and can feel deeply for living beings on this earth, sometimes its hard to not get affected too much by it since thingys happening on this earth can be for some heaven and for some hell at the same time. I am always in for a nightlong talk around the fire but also for cuddly movie night (I love movies by the way but I also love to be outside in nature so much!)
I have been to Egypt, the USA, Italy, Portugal and many other places. I have lived in Northern Ireland for a year to volunteer in a community for people with special needs. I can also proudly say that I walked the camino frances in Spain for the second time now, which I really enjoyed. My first workway experiences I gained during my 4 months in Peru and Mexico as you can see in my feedback. But also outside of workaway I have worked in projects as f.e. canoe camp for kids or cooking for seminar groups.

I can teach german as well as english. My spanish is sufficient enough to get along and communicate basics :) I am willing to learn macedonian language for my stay but I am interested in everything :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

- Photography: passionate hobby of mine
- used to grow up with lots of animals so I don´t mind to get dirty and I am always up for a cuddle
- run household (is it a skill? :D) and prepare healthy meals. I used to regularly cook for a bigger amount fo people.
- bit of gardening but I prefer animals/pets :D
- I am pretty fast learner so lets I can help with a lot of things :D
- I am also handy with hammer and nails and how to think of creative ways of reparing hahah
