Hi! My name is Vojtech. I was born in the Czech Republic but I now live in the UK. I take great pleasure in discovering new cultures and meeting new and interesting people! I especially enjoy contributing my time to improving the communities I am part of, no matter the job. It is always amazing to leave with the feeling I've done something I can be proud of.
(I also enjoy collecting coins wherever I travel, so I look forward to adding some of your country's coins to my collection :) )

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

🇬🇧 🇨🇿 🇪🇸 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 I am fluent in English and Czech. I have knowledge of Spanish and Welsh at a B1 level.
🧑‍💻I have a BSc degree in Math and Computer Science from the University of Bristol as well as a background in designing databases for businesses, software development as well as IT support work. As a result, I am experienced with any home computer and network maintenance.

Otherwise, I am as comfortable outdoors and working with my hands as with a keyboard. In fact, I do my very best to seek it out!

🪚🧑‍🔧🔌I have a range of basic DIY home maintenance skills, including electrician work, carpentry, painting, furniture installation and lastly a keen interest to learn more from anyone willing to teach me.
🚲Bicycle maintenance and tinkering is also a big interest of mine. Having cycled multi-day 800km+ routes across Europe, I have some skill in knowing how to keep a bike running well!

🧑‍🏫Another of my passions is teaching. I have led over 60 lessons tutoring High and Middle School students, taught courses in computer literacy for the elderly as well as volunteered as an assistant at Elementary School after-school clubs. As a result, I am very comfortable with and prepared to take on any au pair responsibilities.

I was recently able to take my passion abroad, having spent a month in Africa in 🇹🇿 Tanzania 🇹🇿, volunteering as a teacher at a local Elementary school! It was an unforgettable experience and while making me more adaptable and flexible in unusual situations, it highlighted to me the importance of giving my time to local communities wherever I am in the world.

This is something I hope to carry forward with you!
