Hi there!

My name is Vaughn L'Heureux, I am an 18-year-old boy from Canada. I recently graduated from high school and I am taking a gap year, I'm looking forward to traveling to Europe to experience the different cultures, people, and volunteer opportunities there are to offer. I am no stranger to travel as my family and I love to explore new places. However, I have never experienced Europe therefore I am very excited and curious about what beauty it has to offer.

I'm very energetic and can't survive for very long without the outdoors or exercise. Most of my hobbies and interests align with the outdoors/exercise. I thoroughly enjoy skiing, biking, hiking, camping, and much more. I also play guitar if you are interested in being serenaded :). You will also find that I enjoy talking to people and have no trouble meeting and getting to know people. I hope that through volunteering and exploring the vast array of European cultures I can meet new people and pick up skills that you can not find anywhere or anyway else. I was in French immersion in school for 11 years so I am very strong in French-speaking, writing, and reading. Spanish was another intriguing language so I took Spanish classes for 3 years in high school so I can understand a little bit of Spanish.

I am very adaptable and versatile person so I can learn quickly in new situations. Also, I believe some of my most skillful attributes are my enthusiasm and charisma which helps me connect with people and quickly make new relationships. I was in French immersion in school for 11 years so I am very strong in French-speaking, writing, and reading. Spanish was another intriguing language so I took Spanish classes for 3 years in high school so I can understand a little bit of Spanish. I have worked at my uncles farm the past 4 summers so I am no stranger to farming duties such as painting, maintenance, driving big machinery and carpentry.
