Hi! We are a couple from Canada and Argentina, (27 and 32 years old) and we are currently in Australia and planning our next year of traveling through Asia, Central America and South America.

In 2024, we did a similar trip and did a few workaways and loved our experiences! We are really looking forward to doing more volunteering this year.

Mateo is good with his hands, and he is also really good with people. He is fluent in English and Spanish. He loves to play guitar and sing, surf, and hang out with people. He is also very interested in meditation, breath work and spirituality. He is a certified breathwork coach.

I (Bethany) love to be active, I surf as much as I can and I also love music. We play guitar and sing whenever we can get a guitar! I also love to travel and experience new cultures. I have been traveling and living in different places for the last 7 years. I am trying to learn some Spanish, so I understand some but not everything!

We are both ASI level 1 surf instructors, and have all of our first aid and ocean safety certificates up to date. We are really keen to use this and share our love for surfing!

We have both worked in a wide variety of jobs, most recently in Australia we both work as support workers with disabled people. I have done a lot of hospitality, reception, farming, and painting. Mateo has done construction, reception, farming, and he is also a veterinarian.

We are really happy people , have a great attitude and love to have fun! We are keen to help in anyway needed.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Mateo is an experienced vet and has worked with mostly large animals on farms etc. so is used to working outdoors and with the earth. He has also worked in construction, housekeeping and as a support worker with disabled people in Australia.

Bethany has worked in farms in Australia and Canada, and also worked a lot in hospitality, and has experience working with kids.

We both are keen to try new things and have a positive attitude and great work ethic. We are used to working outside and have both lived in Australia for years so we are used to working in the heat!

Mateo loves horses and has worked with them his whole life, and we both love to play music and surf.

Bethany has spent the last 6 years travelling and mostly living in Australia, also living in a van for a year and a half off grid so has some knowledge of set ups (solar etc.)
