Les activités qui m'intéressent :
Currently I am backpacking in Mexico.
On the 10th of October I will sail as crew onboard Alexander von Humboldt II from Bremen, Germany to Lisbon, Portugal.Ma prochaine destination :
Lisbon, Portugal - du Nov 2025 au Nov 2025 Voir toutDescription
Likely due to growing up on an organic Avocado and Kiwi farm in Australia, I am motivated to be in nature.
It's fascinating to me, the different plants, animals and methods of cultivation across the world.
My hope is to join a farm, work hard, create a relationship with the owner, and learn as much as possible. In return I will provide my strong work ethic coupled with my eagerness and energy to learn.
More about me:
•Intro
I left home June 2023 and set off on my life changing adventure.
When I arrived in Paris after a 28 hour journey my mind was blown. I had never been on my own in a place where I didn't understand the language around me. The feeling, terrifying yet oddly addictive.
From that point on it was like I had jumped into a fast flowing river taking me to destinations and providing me with opportunities I could never have imagined.
•Philosophy
For me Philosophy changed my life, enriching my experiences with it. My first book freedom to the know by J. Krishamuti taught me the strategies to let go of ideas. From this I was able to let go of significantly more negative ideas which penetrated my mind. I believe that to experience empathy to someone you must be able to first let go of everything you think you know to step into another person's shoes. For this reason I love discussions and venturing deep into the abyss of ideas.
•Sports/ hobbies
The first sport I fell in love with was Judo. It taught me discipline, respect and patience. I coached, competed and refereed in competitions.
My Current grade is a Blue belt.
The next sport I fell in love with was surfing. After a serious effort to learn persevering through the initial learning stages I caught my first good waves and was hooked. For me surfing is a meditation, great exercise and a place to connect to nature.
Through surfing I began to fall in love with all board sports including Kite surfing, snowboarding and skating.
In general I would say I enjoy almost every sport as a chance to stay fit and have fun doing it.
Other sports I enjoy include:
- Sailing
- Rock Climbing
- Hiking
- Horse riding
- Tennis
- Football
- Go-karting
- Hunting
- Slackling
- Mountain biking
•Sailing and Projects
Getting into sailing was not something I’d ever considered or planned, yet there I was on a magnificent 77m Tall ship ripping through the Atlantic with 90 other people, living, working and learning alongside me.
But the sail passion started in Húsavik, Iceland. Well not sailing but sailing boat maintenance. Working alongside my talented boat builder brother and a small team, we restored the rig of a beautiful expedition Schooner ÓPAL.
3 months in Iceland go lightning quick when working on such an interesting project along with relaxing in geothermal pools with a beer chilled in the snow.
Before I knew it I'd found myself on another rigging project of a much larger ship STATSRAAD LEHMKUHL in Bergen, Norway.
Of course it was fun doing maintenance on them but I was always bugged with the image of being onboard one of these ships in the middle of the ocean perhaps during a storm.
The idea must have manifested because a week after I left the project I found out about the Training Ship Danmark. A tall ship which trains young people like myself in becoming seafarers just like the crew on those ships.
I applied and a few months later I was setting off on a 3 month journey onboard a ship with 100 people sailing deep into the Atlantic.
I am now a Certified Ordinary Ships Assistant.Centres d’intérêt

For my first workaway this was an incredible experience.
Living and working along side so many animals made everyday joyful and motivating.
I remember one day sitting with Edgar he said "the horses are the heart of the farm. Everyone is dedicating time and energy to the Ranch because they know the horses are there… read more
