###About Me
Hi! My name is Sato, I'm 24 years old and I'm from Japan.

I'm currently working part-time while preparing for my working holiday in the Netherlands. I'll be staying in the Netherlands from July 30, 2026, to January 30, 2027. My dream is to build a life there in the future, so I'm excited to experience everyday Dutch life and meet amazing people along the way！

When I was 21 years old ,I went to a foreign country (thailand) for the first time in my life.
Then I experienced studing abroad for half year in The Philippines.
And last year I went for Australia and experienced home stay first time!

When I was in Australia, I ran a YouTube channel and an online English coaching business. I was fortunate to have students from my YouTube channel, and I really appreciated that experience.

However, while teaching English every day, I realized it wasn't what I truly wanted to do. I had gone to Australia to explore a new world and experience new things, but instead I found myself spending most of my time doing work that felt familiar. Although I was living abroad, I realized I was still staying inside my comfort zone.

That's one of the reasons I'm coming to the Netherlands. I see this as a second chance to challenge myself,

People often describe me as energetic and easy to get along with. I enjoy meeting new people, trying new experiences, and stepping outside my comfort zone. I believe every new person has something I can learn from, and that's one of the reasons I'm so excited about Workaway.

I've worked in several different jobs, including:

* Restaurant staff (1 year)

* YouTube content creation
* Lawn mowing and outdoor maintenance
* Cleaning an old family property
* Taking care of dogs and cats
* nursing care of my grand mother

Among these, I'm most confident working in restaurants because it taught me teamwork, communication, responsibility, and how to stay calm during busy hours.

In my free time I enjoy:

I enjoy both nature and cities, and I like both indoor and outdoor activities

Few years ago I was touring Australia and Thailand and doing some Youtube activities!

During the term when I was working for Youtube and going to new places,I noticed I really like to make music videoes.
So I decided to change my career and decided to become music video editor!





# Why Workaway?

I chose Workaway because I don't just want to travel. I want to experience real local life and build genuine friendships with people from different cultures.

For me, sharing meals, working together, and having conversations are much more meaningful than simply visiting tourist attractions. I hope that when I leave, I'll be able to say, "I'm really glad I came to the Netherlands."
