Hi! I'm Tiphaine, a 26-year-old French woman with Italian roots through my Sicilian grandfather.

This summer, my goal is to learn Italian and reconnect with that part of my heritage. I've always felt that understanding my origins is an important part of understanding myself, so I'd love to immerse myself in the language, culture, and everyday Italian life. I'd also love to learn more about farm life and permaculture. I've supported NGOs in this field through my digital marketing work, and now I'd love to experience it firsthand! :)

I've been living in Paris for the past 2 years, but I often love stepping outside my comfort zone and discovering new places, people, and ways of living. I'm naturally curious and enjoy learning from different cultures. In the past, I lived for 2 years in S.Korea and Malaysia, experiences that enriched my perspective on the world. I've also travelled to the UK, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Croatia, the Philippines, the UAE and the U.S.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking, spending time by the sea, and being in the water. Last year, I earned my Open Water scuba diving certification, and I'm looking forward to continuing this passion.

I currently work remotely as a freelance marketing consultant a few hours a week, which gives me the flexibility to fully experience the places I visit.

I'm an easy-going, respectful, and independent person (since I was 17 years old) who enjoys meaningful conversations, sharing meals, and helping wherever I can. For me, Workaway is an opportunity to meet inspiring people, exchange cultures, and create memorable experiences together.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I've looked after both cats and dogs over the years, and I've taught French and English while living abroad. Professionally, I work in digital marketing, so I'm comfortable with a wide range of online and marketing-related tasks.

I'm also happy to help with painting, cooking, cleaning, and other everyday household tasks. Over the years, I've had several casual jobs, including working as a hotel receptionist and as a waitress, which taught me to be adaptable, reliable, and comfortable working with people.

I'm a quick learner, naturally curious, and always happy to take on new challenges and learn new skills.

In my free time, I enjoy playing board games, especially chess. I'd also love to improve my drawing skills, as it's something I've always wanted to practice more. I enjoy reading as well, particularly romance and crime novels.

I was vegetarian for 17 years, but today I'd describe myself as flexitarian. I don't usually cook meat myself, although I do eat it occasionally at restaurants.

I'm always happy to discover new hobbies, share interests with others, and learn something new along the way.
