Hi there,
I am a 23 years old, graduated in june 2024 in Social work.
My plan was to travel a bit and then start the adult life back in Belgium.
Untill I fell in love with Sweden. I ended up travelling throughout Sweden for 6 months in total.
I am now at home and looking at ways how I can move and find a job in Sweden.
I would love to start with a workaway again and slowly integrate more and more in Sweden!
I now have over 10 weeks experience in working with sleddogs and driving myself. I got to see different kennels, breeds, races....
Additionally, I hold two degrees in social work and have completed over 1000 hours of internships with various social organisations. As well as student jobs in the hospitality industry, so I could help out with various tasks! Joining your team would be a dream come true, I would love to talk more about the daily dog routines and everything around it.
Besides dogs, I am very used to working with animals, I have done internships at care farms, my other workaways included dogs, horses, pigs,... . I have been riding horses since I was 6 years old. I have no problem getting my hands dirty and doing what is best the extended family with 4 paws.
I do want to add that I have been practising the language for over 3 months and am planning to become fluent!
I would describe myself as a patient, easy learning person, I am prepared to work and get my hands dirty. I love almost any animal, at home we have a cat but I absolutely adore dogs, donkeys, horses, ... .
In my spare time i enjoy photography, travelling, reading and listening to music.
I studied social work and have quite a bit of experience around kids/youth as well.
My English level is C2, so I should get around easy, I also speak Dutch (I'm Belgian), and understand a lot of French (give me some time and I should be able to speak it again too, I'm just a little rusty on French right now).
Don't hesitate to contact me with any questions!Centres d’intérêt

I am a native Dutch speaker (from Belgium) My English has become a really fluent second language. I always had French in school so I could help with this also (although I am not that confident in it) I want to keep practising and learning Swedish, as I want to move to Sweden!Compétences et connaissances que j'aimerais partager ou apprendre

I've been riding since I was about 6 years old, I love a horse thats easy going, but I'm up for a challenge as well. I now mostly ride competition horses (ages between 4-15), and I am used to riding English.
I have ridden Western before on multiple summer camps but am still learning.Âge

For me this was a wonderfull experience🩷
I arrived january 2nd untill march 5th, yes there were tough days but it is worth it. Gäddede and Irene's home truely turn into winter wonderland in the snow.
There is no such thing as too cold, just good clothes!

Jenny has a beautiful farmstay. Gorgeous and fun to ride horses, the cutest dogs and friendly kids (besides the usual tantrums). There are however a few things i found difficult, see "work" and "communication".

It is a really nice place to discover the island from, rest and read and have fun with dogs/horses or learn more about agriculture.
Marie Louise answers fast and always tries to help out.
