As speakers of quite a few languages, we love getting any chance to switch it up linguistically, and any activity that can be something we can throw ourselves in entirely is one we would love.

Description

We are Daragh and Tatiana, a 25 year old Irishman from county Clare, and a 23 year old Russian woman from the outskirts of Moscow. We have recently moved to France, and are following our dream of living in Brittany.

Daragh is an accomplished storyteller, and loves to embellish his tales of ancient Gaelic Gods with his flute-playing and Sean Nós traditional singing. He grew up on the mucky banks of the river Shannon, so he's no stranger to wind, rain, cow-pats and the hundred variants of mud.

Tatiana grew up in the hustle-and-bustle of Europe's largest metropolis, and while it's always been home, she's become a seasoned traveller, moved across continents many times, and known that it is not in megametropoles she belongs, but in the calmness of life far from centres of vast political power. If others do not recognise the name of the town she's in, it's working.

Daragh is a CELTA-qualified English teacher, and with his soft Irish brogue, you'll be sure to only have the most excellent of educators at your disposal should you want. Both of us have an intermediate understanding of French that we only want to improve, and the chance to learn any Breton (especially for Daragh as an Irish speaker) would be massively appreciated.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Daragh is a CELTA-qualified English teacher, and can teach to adults and children alike. He is also a singer of Irish traditional music, as well as able to play the Irish flute, the whistle, and the uilleann pipes.

Tatiana has plenty of volunteering experience on farms (particularly mushroom farms) and hostels. She is a skilled painter and is not a bad sewer neither. (She's also an excellent cook, so if you would like to sample some Russian classics, now would be your chance!) She has also worked as an au pair, so she's quite good with children.

Autres infos...

We've travelled together many times, stayed in wooden cabins in Belarussian villages, and cracked, broken-down town-houses in Tbilisi, so we are quite low-maintenance and are picky only about having the chance to stay in a nice place with good company!
