Hi! My name is Tasha, and I'm from the Netherlands.

I work as a social worker and digital coach, helping people navigate challenges and become more confident with technology. Supporting others is something I genuinely enjoy, and it has taught me patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.

I'm a very curious person who loves discovering new places, cultures, and ways of life. One of the main reasons I joined Workaway is to meet new people, step outside my comfort zone, and experience the world from a local perspective.

In my free time, I'm a dog photographer and a huge animal lover. I enjoy spending time with animals and being outdoors, whether that's exploring nature, walking dogs, or simply enjoying a peaceful environment.

People often describe me as friendly, calm, reliable, and easy to get along with. I make connections easily, but I'm also very independent and comfortable taking initiative. When I commit to something, I give it my full energy and dedication. I'm organised, tidy, and like to keep my surroundings clean and respectful.

I'm excited to learn new skills, help where I can, and create meaningful experiences with hosts and fellow travellers along the way!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I enjoy working with both people and animals. Through my work as a social worker and digital coach, I have developed strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to connect easily with people from different backgrounds. I'm friendly, approachable, and genuinely enjoy helping others.

I'm also a huge animal lover and feel very comfortable caring for animals. Whether it's feeding, walking, playing with, or simply spending time with them, I'm always happy to help.

Creativity is another strength of mine. In my free time, I'm a dog photographer, and I enjoy creating content and social media posts. I can help with photography, content creation, and basic social media management if needed.

I'm naturally curious and love learning new things. I enjoy stepping outside my comfort zone and quickly adapt to new environments and tasks.

I'm also not afraid to roll up my sleeves when it comes to practical work. Together with my boyfriend, I helped renovate our house, which gave me experience with painting, assembling furniture, decorating, and various renovation and DIY projects. While I'm not a professional tradesperson, I'm handy, motivated, and always willing to learn.

Above all, I'm reliable, organised, tidy, and committed to doing my best in everything I take on.

I'm a social person who enjoys spending time with others. I love board games, card games, and cosy evenings with good company, snacks, and plenty of laughs. At the same time, I'm also very comfortable spending time on my own. I enjoy reading a good book, going for walks in nature, and taking time to recharge.

Staying active is important to me. I enjoy yoga and kickboxing, and one of the things on my bucket list is learning how to dance. I'm always open to trying new activities, learning new skills, and stepping outside my comfort zone.

I also have a passion for nature and wildlife. Two big goals on my bucket list are earning my scuba diving certification and volunteering with sea turtles one day. I love being around animals and would love to contribute to projects that help protect and care for them.

I love meeting people from different backgrounds, sharing stories, and learning about other cultures. For me, Workaway is not just about travelling, it's about creating meaningful connections, learning from others, and collecting experiences that will stay with me for a lifetime.
