We have been living in Kocaeli province, located in Turkey, for several years. We are a social couple who are interested in nature, camping, and exploring new, exciting lifestyle and cultures.

Description

I am Tara, 45 years old, and with my husband, Amir, 43. We are Iranians who have been living in Turkey for 5 years, and we have no children.
"We, Tara and Amir, met on a trip ten years ago, and since then, we have traveled through many cities in both Iran and Turkey. We have experienced all kinds of journeys—camping trips, group adventures with friends—and we share responsibilities while always respecting each other’s privacy. At the same time, we cherish our freedom so that we can engage with different people and see the world from our own perspectives."
Tara: I have been an English teacher for many years. I love my work, but I have decided to make a big change in my lifestyle to follow my dream: traveling, learning, and growing.

I would describe myself as a social, friendly, and confident woman. We joined Workaway to experience something beyond a routine life. I am cooperative and enjoy helping with gardening, planting, and cooking. But most of all, I love listening to people’s stories—they’re truly inspiring.
AMIR: I am a very outgoing and communicative person. I adore sharing cultures and skills. My dream is to live and travel in a van, exploring incredible places and connecting with people worldwide. I am an artist at heart, with a deep passion for hands-on craftsmanship. I especially love working with wood and have professional experience in creating detailed artworks. I am also a skilled photographer with a strong eye for capturing special moments.
We both love meeting new people, making friends, learning new skills, and living an adventurous life.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

TARA: I have been an English teacher for many years in schools and adult academic organizations, so I would be happy to help others learn a new language.
I’ve also completed professional courses in hotel management some years ago. My background makes me especially comfortable in hospitality settings, hostels, or with families who need help with language learning or guest service.
Beyond my professional side, I love art and creativity — I'm deeply interested in mandala painting and enjoy expressing myself through photography. I'm also a passionate cook and love preparing various Iranian and Turkish dishes, soups, and desserts. I find joy in sharing meals and learning local recipes wherever I go.
SEYEDAMIR: I am very good at photography. If you need help with your social media, you can count on me. I am a handyman; I can almost fix everything at home as well as I can.
I can help with carpentry and woodworking.
