About Me

Hello! My name is Taisuke Hatakeyama. I am a cheerful and friendly person who enjoys connecting with people. At the same time, I also value my personal time and space. I have a passion for traveling and am currently exploring the beautiful country of Canada.

For over 10 years, I served in the Japan Air Self-Defense Force. However, last year, I decided to make a big change in my life to pursue a freer and more adventurous lifestyle.

Where I Am Now

I am currently staying in Calgary, Canada, and I would love to participate in activities within Canada during my Workaway journey.

What I Can Offer

I am open to any kind of work because I believe that every experience will help me grow and teach me something new. Whether it’s helping with household tasks, gardening, cooking, or assisting with projects, I am eager to contribute and learn.

Hobbies and Interests

Traveling is my greatest passion. I have visited several countries so far, and each trip has been an incredible experience that made me want to explore even more.

Language Skills

I am a beginner in English and can handle basic daily conversations. I studied at a language school in Canada for two months, and I am eager to continue improving my communication skills.

With over 10 years of experience in the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, I have developed strong teamwork, discipline, and the ability to handle various challenges. I am reliable, hardworking, and capable of both following instructions and taking initiative when needed.

2. Driving
I am a confident and responsible driver with experience in safe vehicle operation. I am happy to assist with any driving-related tasks if needed.

3. Cooking and Cleaning
While I am not a professional cook, I have experience preparing meals as part of my daily life while living alone. I can handle simple cooking tasks and food preparation. Additionally, I am skilled at cleaning, organizing, and maintaining a tidy environment.

4. Problem-Solving and Flexibility
In my previous career, I often had to stay calm and find effective solutions in unexpected situations. This has helped me adapt quickly to new environments and challenges.

5. Learning Mindset
I am eager to learn and try new things, whether it’s gardening, DIY projects, or taking care of animals. I approach every task with enthusiasm and curiosity.
